Right after returning from Japan to the USA I had the honor and privilege of being a referee and translator at the Kudo Daidojuku All North American Tournament. Held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, the North American tournament had representatives from Mexico, all over the USA, and Canada. Coming in from Japan to oversee and officiate where Komatsu Shihan and Ryota Fuku-Jukuchou the (incoming) Headmaster of the global organization. The turnout was good, spirits were high, and the style is growing, especially with some exciting plans in the next year. If you have an interest in Kudo, MMA, full contact karate or it's relatives, please find a dojo near you!
