OSU! I recently attended a couple of Kudo Daidojuku summer training camps held in Japan. This one was in rural Japan: Ninohe city, Iwate prefecture, held this past July 2024. Special thanks to Kudo Headmaster Osada, Komatsu Shihan, and Watanabe Sensei for facilitating the invites and training. It was an old-school rigorous camp in an old rural super-hot and humid dojo, and it was an honor to be with JD Alexander, the branch chief of USA Kudo , as the only 2 foreigners at the camp. It was good training... Despite jet lag, heat exhaustion, injuries and whatnot... pushing through is also training! OSU!
