I went to Senso-ji the other day and got my fortune. You can think of it as a super fortune cookie. Theres over a hundred fortunes you can get, and this is the one I got. Its both oddly specific and a bit dark. It basically says that any treasure or anything in general Im after I wont get, and loved ones will be driven away by my obsession to chase the things I cant cant get. Heres the English:
"You wonder why so many barriers are in your way, repeatedly. Those closeto you will leave you one by one, being ground under the heavy wheel, you're forced to stay under in hard trouble. Gold, treasure, and wealth are buried underground, the chance isn't yours yet. Request will not be granted. The patient will not be cured. The lost article will not be found. The person you wait for will not come. Building a new house and moving are both bad. You should stop planning a trip. Both marriage and employment are bad. "
...So what youre telling me is plow full steam ahead to my goals? Challenge accepted!
