The other day I shot a music video for the band “SANGUISUGABOGG” with the fine folks over at Herrick Media LLC. The idea, as I understood it, was to take the classic Sam Raimi Evil Dead – esque aesthetic and Comedy Horror, and mix it with a 1950s/60s Norman Rockwell idyllic family. It was an interesting 11 hour day with gruesome practical effects, silly actors, and a contortionist girl who played my mistress. Allegedly the video will be live in a week or two, and I hope it comes out as entertaining as it was to shoot. Note, I did not have any creative input in this; meaning that it was the director's idea for me to have the shades on the whole time: A great idea! I'm holding my own severed head, which should do the trick looking like me in the video.
