Well, the first day on the Island there was no work yet to do but I was a part of a nautical protest ship blocade against the Navy and their war games in the area... never a dull moment! Also, apparently Kodiak is experiencing an intense spell of uncharacteristic hot weather. Day two, still waiting on the go-ahead to fish, and the search for somewhere to do pullups continues!
